Newcastle has a lot of options for accommodation!
Below is where we're staying and some suggestions.
Vermont Newcastle
We are staying here!

It's a bit spenny, so we recommend staying at one of the other suggestions...but join us if you like!
Motel One
This is the closest hotel to our evening venue, which is a short walk from the day.

It's a few doors down and gets good reviews.
Premier Inn
It's probably fine (and cheap).
There's a few but the Quayside hotel is closest to the evening venue.
